What Does Pleasing a Judge Mean?

A common question that people ask their criminal lawyers is what does pleading no contest mean? This is an important question because it allows one’s attorney to present the best case to the court and get the best result possible. Basically it is saying that you do not wish to go to trial. However, one must understand that sometimes going to trial can be the best option.

There are basically two types of pleas that can occur before the court: One is called a summary plea and the other is called a plea of guilty. Plea of guilty is where you admit to the entire charges against you. If you have a good experienced attorney this will not be a problem and you might even get lucky and get a deal where you do not have to plead no contest.

The reason why you have to have a good experienced attorney: is that a plea of guilty will automatically be a probation sentence. As long as you follow the terms of your probation, you will be required to serve your time at home. Some people who are given probation are then put on what is called an extended probationary sentence. This means that during the time that they are on probation they cannot get any jail time. What happens when someone is found guilty of something that does not involve jail time? In this case they will be asked to do community service.

There are a few different reasons as to what does pleading no contest mean: When a person pleads guilty and they are given a probation period, they usually do not have to deal with jail time. This is because the court feels that this is the best thing for the accused. However, the judge can still make additional punishments if they feel that the defendant is not following the terms of their plea bargain.

If a person is given a probationary sentence which is not enforced: they can still go to court and ask that it be adjusted. The easiest way to do this is through what does pleading no contest mean? When you are given a chance to enter into a plea bargain or a plea agreement it is referred to as a “no contest”. If you are found guilty of something, even if you enter into a plea bargain, you still have to serve your time in jail.

Many people who are involved in criminal activity: are not actually guilty of everything that they are being accused of. Sometimes it is hard to come up with all the facts of a case. This is when a plea bargain comes into play. It is when a person comes into agreement with the prosecutor in exchange for pleading guilty to something even though it is not actually an offense which would be considered a crime. The real question is what does pleading no contest mean?

If you choose to accept it, then you have to deal with whatever punishment the court decides to put onto you.
